Resume screening for Tech
Resume Screening for Software and IT Hiring
Tech resumes list the same stack in a dozen different ways. ResumeMatch reads the job description, pulls out the languages, frameworks, cloud platforms and databases it requires, and shows which of them each candidate actually evidences.
Typical roles: Software engineer, Backend developer, DevOps engineer, Data engineer.
A developer who wrote "built the services layer in Django" has Python experience even if the word never appears on the page. ResumeMatch flags that as an implied skill and quotes the sentence it inferred it from, so you can judge the inference yourself instead of trusting a score.
What ResumeMatch looks for in tech roles
A sample of the requirements it recognises in a job description and checks for in each resume.

Questions
Does it work for niche stacks?
It matches against a curated list of common languages, frameworks, cloud services and databases, and falls back to semantic matching for requirements phrased differently. Very new or obscure tools may show as missing even when a candidate has them, so check missing items against the resume.
Can it tell seniority?
It compares skills and evidence, not seniority. Years of experience and level still need your own judgement.
ResumeMatch is a prioritisation aid, not an automatic hiring decision. Review the underlying resume and apply consistent human review.
